So, I'm going to start with my fascination with skulls. It all started when I saw my uncle who has a sugar skull tattoo. He told me he liked it because it looked cool, and who could argue with that?
From that moment, I developed a fascination with skulls and learned about the history of Day of the Dead and why skulls have such a significent meaning.
By the time I became an adult, my body has been filled with skull tattoos and I found it built up my confidence. There is no shame in loving your skin and loving being tattooed.
If you love skulls, then embrace it and be an amazing weirdo.
I love them too! I have a tiny sugar skull on my desk I play with when I write and a good friend also sent me a rolling pin with skull imprints on it from Poland. I have been having a blast with it. I am making sugar cookies with skulls for Christmas even. Ha ha ha! Happy almost Halloween! :-)
